My son adores cooking and to ensure he still had a memorable birthday in quarantine, my family, with the help and expertise of Edie, of course, surprised him with a virtual cooking class!
Edie’s email communication with us leading up to the class was exceptional. She tailored a menu specifically around his tastes and skill level. We asked Edie if she could incorporate some ingredients he hadn’t used before, and whether she could accommodate a gluten allergy, and she delivered on both requests. Edie thought of everything to make us feel prepared ahead of time.
During the virtual class Edie talked us through the entire setup for the meal’s preparation and guided us through 3 courses step by step. Each household had Edie as a private cooking coach right on their screen! She was charming, attentive, and very patient—providing tips, checking in with each kitchen, and letting us ask all the questions we wanted. The meal was absolutely delicious and the main course of grilled Za’atar lamb chops with roasted Spring vegetables and a preserved lemon Tahini sauce blew us away!
I highly recommend Edie’s virtual class if your friends, family or co-workers want to feel connected, need a morale boost, or want to celebrate a special occasion. We had a blast, lots of laughs, and it made my son’s birthday very special despite the social distancing!

Edie was a phenomenal chef, and was able to guide a virtual cooking class full of kitchen newbies in creating a delicious meal all while providing entertaining insight and background to the meal we were preparing.
She was excellent at communicating the required ingredients ahead of time, as well as providing vegan/vegetarian substitutes, and ensured all of the preparation steps were clear and easy to follow. We had a fantastic time with Edie and are looking forward to our next class with her!

I worked with Edie to put together a virtual cooking night to celebrate my birthday in the midst of quarantine. Edie was fantastic in working with me to design a menu that accommodated my family and friends’ dietary needs as well as our limited grocery availability as a result of the pandemic.
The evening was a great time! Edie was thoughtful to ensure no one got left behind and taught us several helpful tricks along the way — I’ll never cut an onion the same way again! I’d highly recommend working with Edie and hope I have the occasion to do so again soon!

We celebrated our 16th Wedding Anniversary by treating ourselves to a private cooking class and we are so glad we did. Edie planned a very special menu for us well in advance so we could get everything. When it came time to get started we enjoyed our virtual class and truly enjoyed meeting and cooking with Edie! From the first contact until after the class, Edie was always super helpful, creative, understanding and fast responding, communication overall was just quick and easy. We booked a corporate class for up to 30 people and the recipe was a light salad with variations for all food preferences (vegan, vegetarian, gluten free), the instructions during the class were super helpful and helped to make the class really feel like real cooking and not only as adding ingredients to the plate, Edie also had some great recommendations and tips for us and we really enjoyed cooking with her. We can only recommend booking a class with her.
